Next Wednesday, November 23rd will be SVHS' 7th Braves in Action. Please encourage your students to come and join us for a day of service in the community. Sign-up sheets are posted in the main office. Make sure your students come dressed appropriately for the activity that they choose as some activities require warm, work clothes.
In conjunction with the "Braves in Action" service day the Student Council is sponsoring a food drive. If you would like to donate please send your donations in with your students. The food collected will be taken to the local food banks next Wednesday and organized for distribution.
Some of the other activities that will be completed next week are the assembly and distribution of food boxes, completing quilts to be distributed, writing letters to our military men and women, making Christmas stockings for needy children, caroling throughout the community, various projects in our elementary schools and wood splitting and stacking projects throughout the valley. If you know of other needs in the community it is not too late to let us know. Please call SVHS at 885-7847 if you have other projects you'd like us to consider.
